Event Dates and Times

The Boykin Center lobby opens one hour before show time for at-door ticket purchases and Will Call pickup.
The house will open at approximately 30 minutes before show time for seating.
This performance is scheduled to last approximately 90 minutes.
About the Show
The Malpass Brothers, hailing from North Carolina, are celebrated for their authentic honky-tonk style and tight harmonies, evoking the classic country sound of icons like Merle Haggard and Hank Williams Sr. With their timeless storytelling and engaging live performances, they continue to captivate audiences who appreciate the traditional charm of country music. Mentored and credentialed by the biggest legends of bluegrass and country music, the brother duo continues to deliver new, yet traditional music in modern times.
Directions and Parking
The Edna Boykin Cultural Center is located at 108 Nash Street NE, Wilson, NC 27893. You can find detailed directions on our website at https://www.wilsonarts.com/directions. The Edna Boykin Cultural Center does not have its own parking lot. Street parking is available on Tarboro, Nash, and Pine Streets. After-hours parking is permitted in surrounding lots. Any vehicles left overnight are subject to towing.Â
Tickets
Tickets are reserved seating through Etix. The cost is $40 for adults and $35 for seniors and students. Purchase online at Boykin Series 27: The Malpass Brothers Tickets | Wilson, NC | Boykin Center, call 252-291-4329, or purchase at the Boykin Center Box Office the night of the show if tickets remain.
You will either need a printed ticket or a mobile ticket pulled up on your device so we can scan it. If you have forgotten your ticket or cannot access it on your mobile device, please visit the Box Office so they can print one for you. If you have your ticket on your mobile device, please make sure that your screen brightness is at full brightness or the scanner will not be able to read and scan your ticket for entry.Â
Parking:Â Thanks to Farris & Thomas Law next door, we are now able to offer their parking area at 104 Nash St N (corner of Nash St and Tarboro St) as accessibility parking. Look for the blue sign that reads "Accessibility Parking". Space is limited.
 Inside the theater:
- If you or someone you are traveling with has mobility issues and may need assistance, please let the box office know so we can arrange to help you get seated early and comfortably. The main floor is wheelchair accessible with companion seating. However, our balcony level is only accessible by stairway and is not advised for those with mobility issues.Â
- For hard-of-hearing patrons, we do have assistive listening devices available at no cost. If you would like an assistive listening device for the performance, please visit the box office to request one.Â
- For visitors with sensory issues, sensory backpacks are available to sign out from the box office. Each backpack includes an assortment of items that can help lessen sensory overload and help visitors engage. The entire backpack or just one or two items can be checked out. Sensory backpacks were made possible by the Wilson Breakfast Optimist Club.

Seating
The house (theater term for where the audience sits) opens approximately 30 minutes before showtime. Seating is reserved. If you have trouble locating your seat, please see an usher or staff member.
Electronics and Photography
Please make sure to silence your cell phones before the show begins. If you need to take a call, please quietly exit into the lobby. We ask that you refrain from using flash photography during the show.
ConcessionsÂ
Concessions will be open before the performance and during intermission. We have a variety of candy, snacks, water, and soft drinks available for $1-$3. We are also proud to have Whirligig Popcorn Shoppe popcorn available for purchase!
At this time, we are not serving alcohol at performances in the Boykin Center. We encourage patrons to explore the vibrant downtown area and patronize the many wonderful restaurants and establishments that are part of our community. While attending our events, we invite you to take part in the social district as you enjoy the rich cultural offerings that our downtown has to offer. Participating restaurants include Bill's Grill, The Cardinal Bar, Casita Brewing Company, Downtown Public House, Ice & Fuel, Larema Coffee House, The Porch at Iconostar, Ruckus and Redemption, and The Hub. The Boykin Center is within the Downtown Social District, meaning you may bring in social district drinks from these participating establishments.
