Thank you to Wilson Tourism Authority (Wilson Visitors Center) for investing in the marketing efforts of the Arts Council of Wilson through your grant program! These funds will help us draw visitors to Wilson's unique art experiences, including the Boykin Series, our visual art exhibits and special events! Visitors will boost our local economy by attending these events, going out to eat, shopping at our retail stores, and staying at our hotels. According to the Arts and Economic Properity Study 5, non-residents (visitors) that attend non-profit arts and cultural events spend an average of $61.86 per person (excluding the cost of admission).
