Paint-A-Hydrant

2025 Deadline for Entry is Friday, August 15

Paint-A-Hydrant is a community-driven public art initiative benefiting the Fight for Me Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that supports Wilson County firefighters—both career and volunteer—who put their lives on the line every day to protect our community.

The cost to adopt and paint a hydrant is $100, plus any additional expenses for paint and supplies.

Firefighters are often the first to respond in times of crisis, facing significant risks with every call. One moment can lead to life-changing injuries and unexpected financial burdens. As healthcare and living costs continue to rise, the need for community support has never been greater.

The Fight for Me Foundation is there to help—offering direct assistance when our local heroes need it most.
