Miniature Masterpieces Junior Art Swap 2026: Know Before You Go

What to Expect
We’re excited to welcome you to Miniature Masterpieces 2026! Here’s everything you need to know for a fun and seamless evening:

• Doors open at 4:00 p.m. for check-in, refreshments, and mingling
• Participating artists will draw a number from a jar within their age group
• Each number corresponds to an artwork on the wall
• Until 5:00 p.m., guests are invited to enjoy and view all artwork
• Around 5:00 p.m., volunteers will begin assisting participants in claiming their artwork based on their number
• Remember—everyone goes home with someone else’s artwork!  Art is meant to be shared and what better way than to swap with other artists!
• Framing is optional and available for $30 per piece
• The event concludes at 6:00 p.m.
• Feel free to take photos—there will also be a photobooth available

Guest Policy
• Each ticket includes one artist and one guest
• All additional attendees must have a ticket
• Additional guest tickets are $10 and may be purchased at the door

Check-In & Artwork Selection
• No physical tickets are required—just provide your name
• Upon check-in, you will draw a number
• This number corresponds to a Miniature Masterpiece displayed in your age group
• Please do not remove artwork from the walls—volunteers will assist you
• We encourage everyone to take time to enjoy the artwork before selections begin

Claiming Your Artwork
• Artwork selection begins at 5:00 p.m.
• Volunteers will retrieve your piece from the gallery
• Volunteers will be wearing nametags and stationed throughout the space
• If you are unable to attend, staff will pull your number at 5:30 p.m.
• Final call to claim artwork is 5:45 p.m.

• Meat and cheese skewers
• Animal crackers
• Pigs in a blanket (or similar)
• Chick-fil-A nuggets

Seating
This is a mingling event. Cocktail tables, chairs, and benches will be available throughout the space.

• Free parking is available behind the building
• Street parking is available on Nash and Goldsboro Streets
• Additional parking is available at Carolina Family Health (after hours)

Accessibility
• Closest access is via street parking at the front of the building
• A sign language interpreter will be provided
• The rear parking lot does not provide direct access to the entrance
• An extra wheelchair is available for use
• Bench seating is available throughout the gallery

Sensory backpacks are available at the reception desk and include tools to support comfort and engagement.
