Junior Women’s Club of Wilson presents The Palm Paradise Gala

Join the Junior Women’s Club of Wilson for an unforgettable evening at our Palm Paradise Gala on May 1, 2026 at the Wilson Arts Center. This vibrant, tropical-inspired night will bring our community together for fun, fellowship, and a meaningful cause — supporting local students through Wilson Education Partnership.
Every dollar raised from tickets and sponsorships will go directly to WEP. The Junior Women’s Club proudly underwrites the cost of the event through member support, allowing this evening to make the greatest possible impact. Proceeds will fund WEP’s student programming and help establish a scholarship endowment for young women — opening doors and creating brighter futures right here in Wilson.
Put on your island-inspired attire and join us for a night that makes a difference — because when we invest in students, we invest in our entire community. 🌴✨
Why WEP?
We chose WEP because of their incredible impact on students both inside and beyond the classroom. Through career exploration, mentorship, confidence-building programs, and hands-on learning experiences, WEP helps students discover their strengths, connect with their community, and prepare for life after graduation. Their work supports not only academic success, but also character development, leadership skills, and real-world readiness — ensuring students know they have a network of educators, leaders, and community members cheering them on.

S2P2, Inc. presents Sweeney Todd

Ticket information: TO BE ANNOUNCED

Sweeney Todd has become a bloody, worldwide success since being awarded eight Tony’s, (including Best Musical), for its Broadway premiere. Stephen Sondheim’s and Hugh Wheeler’s (A Little Night Music, Pacific Overtures) tasty, thrilling, theatrical treat has simultaneously shocked, awed and delighted audiences across the world.

An infamous tale, Sweeney Todd, an unjustly exiled barber, returns to nineteenth century London, seeking vengeance against the lecherous judge who framed him and ravaged his young wife. The road to revenge leads Todd to Mrs. Lovett, a resourceful proprietress of a failing pie shop, above which, he opens a new barber practice. Mrs. Lovett’s luck sharply shifts when Todd’s thirst for blood inspires the integration of an ingredient into her meat pies that has the people of London lining up… and the carnage has only just begun!
