Kadence Aycock (Ensemble/Dance Captain)

16-year-old Kadence is a student at Wilson Early College Academy. She has participated in ACT! for Youth productions of Disney’s Newsies, Pinocchio, HONK!, Les Misérables.

Graham Beaman (Ensemble)

As a seasoned cast member of ACT! for Youth’s Pinocchio, Disney’s Newsies, Disney’s Descendants, Roald Dahl’s Willy Wonka KIDS, and Hunter’s The Grinch, Graham is excited to be back on the stage again for this show.  When he isn’t singing, dancing, or performing, Graham is a 2nd grader at New Hope Elementary School, and he also enjoys making art.

Milo Boyd (Spotlight / Costumes, Hair, Makeup)

Milo joined ACT! for Youth last season for Pinocchio and for the summer camp production of Legally Blonde The Musical JR. He is an 8th-grade student at Forest Hills Middle School. Milo enjoys playing soccer, reading, and art, especially drawing.

Cadence Combs (Ensemble)

An 8th grader at Elm City Middle School, Cadance has enjoyed being a part of many ACT! for Youth shows, including A Little Princess, Disney’s Alice in Wonderland, Nickelodeon’s The SpongeBob Musical, Les Misérables, Disney’s Newsies, and others.  She stays active with soccer, tennis, piano, and youth group activities. 

Emma Du Sablon (Ensemble)

Emma has participated in HONK!, Pinocchio, and Disney’s Newsies with ACT! for Youth, Puffs with S2P2, Disney’s The Little Mermaid with the Annual Summer Community Musical, and both The Cake and You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown with Playhouse of Wilson. She is a 15-year-old homeschooler who also enjoying creating art and music.

­­Bella Edwards (Sound)

Bella is a Junior homeschooler who enjoys video production and editing. Her first ACT! for Youth was Disney’s Newsies as part of the tech crew learning sound, and we are happy to welcome her back to the soundboard for this show.

Imogen Edwards (James)

Returning to the stage after her first ACT! for Youth show, Disney’s Newsies, Imogen is excited for her first leading role. A 3rd-grade homeschooler, she also enjoys dancing, tumbling, nature school, singing, crafting, and hanging out with friends and animals.

Carleigh Ford (Ensemble)

No stranger to The Boykin Center stage, Carleigh has participated in ACT! for Youth productions of Oliver!, HONK!, The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, Pinocchio, and Disney’s Newsies, as well as the Annual Summer Community Musical production of Disney’s The Little Mermaid. She stays active dancing, tumbling, playing piano and violin, singing, learning taekwondo, and playing softball. Carleigh also enjoys creating art.

Penelope Gonzalez (Ensemble)

Returning for her second production, 8-year-old Penelope made her debut at The Boykin Center last summer in Disney’s The Little Mermaid. She is a 3rd-grader at Sallie B. Howard School of Arts and Science and also enjoys visual arts, crafting, drawing, science, and playing games.

Leanna Gorman (Earthworm)

When she is not busy fostering puppies with the Maggie Society, Leanna is a busy 8th grader at Elm City Middle School, playing basketball, softball, and singing. You may have seen her in one of several productions at The Boykin Center including Disney’s Newsies, Les Misérables, HONK!, Nickelodeon’s The SpongeBob Musical, Disney’s Alice in Wonderland, and Oliver, Disney’s Jungle Book KIDS, Roald Dahl’s Willy Wonka KIDS, Annie KIDS, Legally Blonde The Musical Jr, Disney’s Cinderella, the Sound of Music, and Disney’s The Little Mermaid.

Maggie Hallam (Props / Deck Crew Lead)

Maggie is an 8th-grader at Forest Hills Middle School who recently helped the Imagination Station Science and History Museum acquire three axolotls for a new exhibit as part of the Girl Scouts. She also enjoys being part of the STEM Team, playing softball, participating in arts and crafts, playing with dogs, and reading. Her theater credits include Seussical, The Wind in the Willows, A Little Princess, Oliver!, The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, All Together Now, and most recently Disney’s Newsies.

Lilli Keith Harper (Ensemble)

Eight years old and a 3rd grader at New Hope Elementary School is joining us for her first ACT! for Youth show. Lilli Keith is an active Dance Studio B dancer who enjoys performing on the stage and was part of Dance Studio B’s Moana and Villains recitals. She also enjoys taking gymnastics and playing soccer, and she loves spending time with her family and dogs.

Rosemary Harper (Ensemble)

Six-year-old Rosemary loves time with her family, friends, and dogs.  She is a first grader at New Hope Elementary and takes dance at Dance Studio B.  She took the stage for Moana and Villains recitals with Dance Studio B, but we are happy to welcome her for her first ACT! for Youth show. Rosemary also enjoys playing soccer and baking.

Gavin Harris (Assistant Stage Manager / Props Crew)

A Sophomore at Hunt High School, Gavin enjoys playing on the school tennis team and designing graphics. He has participated in ACT! for Youth’s productions of HONK! and Disney’s Newsies, as well as Wilson Arts summer camp productions of Disney’s Camp Rock The Musical and Legally Blonde The Musical JR.

Gabbie Hawk (Running Crew)

Self-described Greta Van Fleet group, Gabbie loves playing the bass guitar and is a Sophomore at Neuse Charter School. Her theater credits include Bridge to Terabithia, Disney’s Cinderella, The Wizard of Oz, Our Town, Les Misérables, and Disney’s The Aristocats.

Kaitlyn Henderson (Assistant Stage Manager / Costumes, Hair, Makeup)

A homeschooled 8th grader, Kaitlyn has been active in theater with Wilson Arts summer camps Disney’s Winnie the Pooh KIDS and Disney’s The Jungle Book KIDS, as well as Playhouse of Wilson’s You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown and a homeschool group production of Macbeth. She enjoys cross country, musical theater, dancing jazz & clogging, piano, arts and crafts in her spare time.

Roy Henderson (Lighting)

Roy is an 11th-grade homeschool joining us for his first show. He enjoys running cross country, playing the piano, camping, creating with Legosâ„¢, and being a part of the Wilson Youth Council.

Jahiliyyah Hewitt (Ensemble)

Jahiliyyah has performed in All Together Now with the Playhouse of  Wilson; Disney’s The Little Mermaid and The Sound of Music with The Singer's Studio and Wilson Arts; Oliver! A Midsummer Night's Dream, Les Misérables, HONK!, Pinocchio, Disney’s Newsies with ACT! for Youth, and various performances with Sallie B. Howard School. She enjoys ballet, musical theater, contemporary dance, ballroom dance, acro tumble, ice skating, roller skating, and singing. A 7th grader at Quarles Performing Arts School, she also enjoys designing and making dresses, beading bracelets, and drawing.

Braillen Hill (Ensemble/Dance Captain)

A 7th-grade homeschool student, Braillen enjoys dancing at Dance Studio B, engaging in acro/gymnastics, reading, swimming, traveling, and adventurous roller coaster rides. Her on-stage credits include Disney’s Newsies, HONK!, Les Misérables, The Sound of Music, Oliver!, Nickelodeon’s The SpongeBob Musical, Disney’s Cinderella, A Little Princess, The Wind in the Willows, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, South Pacific, The Brothers Grimm, Seussical the Musical, Sleepy Hollow, and many more!

Liam Hockaday (Sound)

Liam is 15 years old and a student at Sallie B. Howard. He participated in the ACT! for Youth production of A Little Princess a few years ago, and we are happy to welcome him back. Liam also enjoys playing trumpet and video games.

Charlotte Hunt (Ensemble)

No stranger to The Boykin Center stage, Charlotte has participated in ACT! for Youth’s productions of Nickelodeon’s The SpongeBob Musical, Oliver!, HONK!, Disney’s Newsies, as well as the Annual Summer Community Musical production of Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Wilson Arts Summer Camp productions of Legally Blonde The Musical Jr. and Disney’s Descendants, and Hunter’s The Grinch. She is a 7th grader at Elm City Middle School who also loves playing trumpet, taking vocal lessons at The Singers Studio, reading, swimming, and playing volleyball.

Addie Johnson (Ensemble)

Addie’s on-stage credits include Turn the Page, Alice in Wonderland, Magic Tree House: Pirates Past Noon, Oliver!, Roald Dahl’s Willy Wonka KIDS, Disney’s The Jungle Book KIDS, HONK!, Disney’s Winnie the Pooh KIDS, Annie KIDS, and Disney’s Lion King KIDS. She is a 4th grader at Greenfield School who stays active playing soccer, basketball, and volleyball. Addie also enjoys crafting, singing, fishing, being silly, and making messes.

Ryan Martin (Running Crew)

A 17-year-old Senior who is homeschooled, Ryan enjoys roller skating, drawing, and fashion. He has been on tech for ACT! for Youth’s SpongeBob The Musical, Oliver!, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, the Wilson Annual Summer Community Musical production of The Sound of Music, as well as Playhouse of Wilson’s On Golden Pond, Hay Fever, and The Cake. He also performed on stage for HONK!, Disney’s The Little Mermaid, and Disney’s Newsies.

Caleb Martinez (Spotlight)

Caleb is returning to ACT! for Youth for his second production as part of the tech crew running spotlight. He also participated in the first production of the season, Disney’s Newsies. He is 11 years old and a 5th-grade student at Vick Elementary School. His hobbies are playing video games and Nerf™ guns.

Hailey Matthews (Ensemble/Dance Captain)

14 years old and a 9th grader at Wilson Early College Academy, Hailey has been a part of the Annual Wilson Summer Community Musical Disney’s The Little Mermaid and Roald Dahl’s Matilda, as well as numerous Wilson Arts summer camp and ACT! for Youth shows, including A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Nickelodeon’s The SpongeBob Musical, and A Little Princess. She enjoys taking dance at Dance Studio B and voice lessons at The Singers Studio, as well as fostering dogs for local rescues, reading, shopping, listening to music, and attending live shows.

Livvy Matthews (Spider)

Livvy is joining us for her 18th show. Some of her favorites include Legally Blonde The Musical JR where she played Elle Woods and Disney’s The Little Mermaid as a mersister. Livvy is a 7th grade student at Elm City Middle School. She enjoys taking dance at Dance Studio B and taking vocal lessons at The Singers Studio. In her spare time, Livvy also loves playing various instruments, reading, traveling, and just hanging out with friends.

Caroline McCauley (Costumes/Hair/Makeup)

While this may be Caroline’s first show with ACT! for Youth, 9th grader Caroline McCauley has been performing with Dance Studio B for 10 years, pursuing contemporary dance, clogging, ballet, and pre-pointe. When she isn’t dancing, Caroline enjoys drawing, painting, reading, and baking.

Annika McLean (Ensemble)

Annika has participated in ACT! for Youth’s productions of Disney’s Newsies and Pinocchio and the Wilson Arts Summer Camp production of Disney’s Winnie the Pooh KIDS.

Layne Patterson (Costumes, Hair, Makeup)

13-year-old Layne is a student at Elm City Middle School who enjoys hanging out with friends and family, dancing (Jazz and Contemporary), being a part of musical theater, playing the French Horn, and painting. Layne has participated on-stage in Annie KIDS (Apple Seller/Ensemble) and Roald Dahl’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (Ms. Gloop) and as part of the tech team (Spotlight) for Disney’s The Little Mermaid.

Emma Powell (Ensemble)

Emma is 9 years old and a 4th grader at Community Christian School. She recently participated in Disney’s Newsies and Annie KIDS. Her hobbies include playing piano, singing, and hanging out with friends. Emma also likes to stay active playing basketball and soccer.

Gwyndelyn Rigby (Ensemble)

Gwyndelyn’s Boykin Center debut in Disney’s The Little Mermaid and experience in Disney’s Newsies led her to audition for Roald Dahl’s James and the Giant Peach.  She is 12 years old and a 7th grade homeschool who enjoys musical theater, singing, and tap dancing.

Ani Russo (Spiker)

A Freshman at Wilson Early College Academy, Ani enjoys singing, being part of the Wilson Youth Council, playing piano, shopping, and spending time with her family and friends. She also loves riding her bike and crocheting. Her theater credits include The Little Princess, Turn the Page, Alice in Wonderland, Nickelodeon’s The SpongeBob Musical, HONK!, and A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

Enza Russo (Sponge)

Enza has been a part of ACT! for Youth productions of The Little Princess, Turn the Page, Alice in Wonderland, Nickelodeon’s The SpongeBob Musical, and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. She is a Freshman at Wilson Early College Academy, and she enjoys playing basketball, serving on the Wilson Youth Council, and spending time with family and friends. Enza also likes to sew, go bike riding, and play board games in her spare time.

Sicily Russo (Ladahlord)

A Junior at Wilson Early College Academy, Sicily’s theater credits include The Little Princess, Turn the Page, Alice in Wonderland, The SpongeBob Musical, HONK!, and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. She is a singer and songwriter who enjoys playing guitar and piano. She also loves to volunteer, shop, bike ride, sew, crochet, and spend time with her family and friends.

Clark Silva (Ensemble)

7th grader Clark Silva enjoys creating digital and traditional art and making jewelry. He is 12 years old and a student at Sallie B. Howard. Roald Dahl’s James and the Giant Peach is his first ACT! for Youth production.

Isabella Skinner (Centipede)

An 8th grader at Elm City Middle School, Isabella is active with ballet and tap classes at Dance Studio B, cosplaying, and learning makeup techniques when she isn’t on the stage. Her on-stage credits include Hunter’s The Grinch; ACT! for Youth’s productions of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Disney’s Newsies; Playhouse of Wilson’s Legend of Sleepy Hollow; and the Wilson Annual Summer Community Musical productions of Disney’s Cinderella and Roald Dahl’s Matilda. Isabella also worked tech crew for The SpongeBob Musical and Disney’s Alice in Wonderland with ACT! for Youth.

Georgia Spainhour (Ensemble)

Georgia is a 1st grade student at Greenfield School and enjoys participating in sports and creating art. She previously took part in stage productions of Disney’s The Lion King KIDS, Disney’s Winnie the Pooh KIDS, and Annie KIDS.

Neely Spainhour (Ensemble)

Neely previously took part in stage productions of Disney’s The Lion King KIDS, Disney’s Winnie the Pooh KIDS, and Annie KIDS. She enjoys staying active in sports, singing, and creating art and is a 3rd grader at Greenfield School.

Alma Stancil (Ensemble)

Alma is 10 years old and is a Greenfield School 5th grader.  She has taken the stage as part of ACT! for Youth’s productions of Pinocchio (Harlequin) and Disney’s Newsies (Ensemble), as well as the Annual Summer Community Musical production of Disney’s The Little Mermaid (Ensemble).  She is active in golf, gymnastics, tumbling, craft-making, and spending her parents' money shopping.

Emma Townsend Satterfield (Stage Manager)

A Junior at Wilson Early College Academy, Emma Townsend’s most recent theater credits include Disney’s The Little Mermaid (Assistant Stage Manager), HONK! (Maureen), Les Misérables (Ensemble), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Helena), and Nickelodeon’s The SpongeBob Musical (Karen). Her hobbies include baking, reading, and writing, and she also enjoys dancing, playing piano, taking voice lessons, and being active in youth group.

Evan Whitehead (Green Grasshopper)

Evan is a Springfield Middle School 7th grader, who has performed in HONK!, Disney’s Newsies, Pinocchio, Oliver!, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Annie KIDS, The Sound of Music, and Disney’s The Little Mermaid.  When he isn’t on the stage, Evan enjoys playing video games and D&D, creating fictional characters with bios, and drawing. 

Katelyn Wilson (Ladybug)

14-year-old Katelyn is an 8th-grade student at Elm City Middle School who enjoys tennis, cross country, painting, and crafting. She has participated in ACT! for Youth productions of Disney’s Newsies, Pinocchio, HONK! and the Annual Wilson Summer Musical production of Disney’s The Little Mermaid with The Singers Studio and Wilson Arts.

Benjamin Winders (Ensemble)

8th grade Springfield student Benjamin Winders has participated in several productions, including Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, South Pacific, An Extra Penny, Roald Dahl’s Matilda, Les Misérables, HONK!, and most recently Disney’s Newsies. Besides theater, he also enjoys playing saxophone in the band, reading, composing, playing piano, creating art, and writing stories.
